Story:

Someone in the office clicked on an email that had a cat video in it. Little did they know that it had contained a virus that started to spread through the office. Your job as an IT manager is to get rid of the virus (by pressing and holding "F") and get back to your IT desk before it gets to the CEO's computer. If it gets to his computer ... well, you'll see.

Great job! The monitors on the horizontal desks are above the player so the player goes behind them, I like the cat noises, my one issue is there's a lot of sitting around, not really sure how to fix that, and there should be an indicator that you're actually fixing the virus, I thought I was near enough to be fixing it but it wasn't doing anything, maybe have the computer have a border when you're close enough?

Thank you for the reply, and feedback. I am working on all of that. This is my second game that I have worked on. I am still learning a lot. I have only been game programming for about a month and a half, so I am still learning how to do all that stuff.

I really enjoyed the polish you made to the art around the game to help sell the concept. If I could offer some feedback: The cat virus music is clashing with the serene office music tone. I'd suggest either a) making the office sound quiet/like a typical office when no viruses are installed, or pausing the music when the virus is playing. It's funny enough on it's own.

With these type of games I think it's common to give the player a task in the waiting period. I think it would be funny if the player had to go back to their desk to try to finish a episode of one piece or something like that.

Overall, creative concept, and you did a great job!

Thank you for the feedback and the suggestions. This is the second game that I submitted for a jam. The first one was not completed enough. I worked with an amazing artist and musician. I am only been programming for about a month and a half, so I have a lot to learn.

Cool! Yeah this is good. Looking forward to seeing what you can do a few jams, months and years down the road.
